The Bronx Community College Broncos Women's volleyball team visited Garden City, NY, played in the Main Gym and did not win a set.

The Broncos loss by similar 3-0 score to the Nassau Community College Lions and to the Suffolk County Community College Sharks.  Both teams are NJCAA Region XV opponents.

The Bronx team played with energy and good team communication.  However, the team focus on the time in task and in the intensity of the matches seem to fluctuate at critical moments.

Playing well in both matches for the Broncos were Ashley Suarez (11 kills, 3 assists and 6 digs), Eriadna Rachell Vasquez Bautista (10 kills, 7 block solo and 11 block assist), Yanibel Brito (4 kills, 10 digs) and Sergi N Ramirez Flores (13 assists, 3 block solo).  Freshman Samantha Castro made contributions with her improving play.

The Bronx Community College team season record is now Win - 2 Loss - 6.  In the  CUNY Athletic Conference the record is Win - 0 Loss - 2

The Broncos play a home game on Thursday, September 28, 2017 in Alumni Gymnasium starting at 7PM vs the Borough of Manhattan Community College Panthers.
