How the Match Unfolded

Trailing 4-3 in the opening set, the Broncos put together a 10-1 run, highlighted by three service aces by Vargas, and three kills by Sierra, to take a 13-5 advantage. The Caimans brought the match to within five points six different times, but Bronx closed out the set one victory via an attack error by Mariam Martinez.

Bronx built a 10-6 advantage in set two, powered by three kills from Sierra. The visitors responded with an 8-3 run (led by three kills from Traore) to take a slim 14-13 edge. The teams would go on to exchange the lead three more times, and the Broncos held a seemingly comfortable 23-20 advantage, before the Caimans rallied.
