The Bronx Community College Women's Volleyball team made its 2017 season debut today at the Borough of Manhattan Gymnasium.

In the first match of the season, the Broncos loss to the BMCC Panthers by score of 3 - 0.

In the second match of the season, Bronx CC was defeated by the Fashion Institute of Technology Tigers team by score of 3 - 0.

In the loss to the Panthers, Eriadna Rachell Vasquez Bautista led the Broncos with three kills and three service aces. Ashley Suarez led Bronx with 15 digs. 

Vazquez Bautista and Ramirez Flores tied for team-high honors in the setback to the Tigers. Sergi Nuvani Ramirez Flores handed out 13 set assists, while Tania Perez fired three aces. 

Ashley Suarez, Sergi N. Ramirez Flores and Tania Perez played well in both matches.

At 0-2, Bronx plays host to Monroe-Bronx on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
