The Bronx Community College Broncos Men's Basketball team travelled to Selden, NY in Long Island to play the Suffolk County Community College Sharks in an NJCAA Division III Region XV match.

The final score was Bronx CC - 91 Suffolk County CC - 75.

The final score can be misleading.  It was not an easy win.  The pace of the game determined the outcome.

Both teams played their styles and matched their regular season averages in shooting and free throws percentages.  

The Broncos pressure defense created problems for the Sharks.  The pressure produced high percentage baskets and assists that gave the Broncos the lead.

When the Broncos game strategy is established, the pace of the game is difficult on the opponent and increases the team scoring chances.

Playing their reliable game for the Bronx team were Jonathan Frazier, Richard Lue, Jhalil Mason and Gabriel Cruz.

The season record for the Men's team is now 14 - 9.
