The Bronx Community College Men's Basketball defeated Hostos Tuesday 75-71. The game marked the second time the Bronx rivals have faced off, with the Caimans taking the first. The Broncos looked to take back Bronx supremacy on their home court.

The Battle of the Bronx lived up to its billing, as the changed hands several times during the first half with BCC holding a 35-32 lead going into the break.  The second half would continue to feature back and forth action with the Broncos never falling behind by more than 3 points. Momentum would shift towards BCC with four minutes remaining when Karius Morris got a clutch steal leading to a fast break and an easy layup giving Bronx a 63-62 advantage. The Caimans would never come back as the Broncos played tough down the stretch to secure the win.

With the win, the men go to 16-9 overall and 5-5 in the conference. The Broncos will play their final home game Sunday when they take on Ulster Community College. Tip-off is scheduled for noon at Alumni Gymnasium.
