The progress of the Bronx Community College Women's Volleyball team was in display today in a CUNY Athletic Conference game at historic Alumni Gym against Kingsborough Community College.

Both teams were ready and the play for points was intense from the start.

Kingsborough CC won the 1^st set by score of 25 -17 and the 3^rd set 25-19.  The Broncos won the 2^nd set by score of 25-19 and the 4^th set 25-19.

In the 5^th and deciding set, Kingsborough CC outscored the Broncos 15-13.  

The Broncos team effort was strong the whole match.  On offense, Ashley Suarez, Hualeska Garcia and Stephanie Hernandez attacked the Kingsborough CC defense consistently.

Yeidy Montes de Oca had 25 assists in the match.

On defense, the Broncos did not block well at the net and made errors when receiving Kingsborough CC serve attacks.  The Broncos had 93 digs in the match.  Jackeline Elwin and Noelia Feliz played good defensive games.

The Bronx CC team season record is now – Win – 3 Loss – 12.  In the CUNY Athletic Conference the season record is 2-5.

Next for the Broncos is a trip to Garden City, NY to play top NJCAA Region 15 competition against Nassau CC and Suffolk County CC on Saturday, October 17, 2015 stating at 12PM.
