In winning the 3rd game of the 2015 Women's Volleyball season, the Broncos team displayed energy and focus against Borough of Manhattan CC Panthers at historic Alumni Gymnasium.  The 5-set game final score was 3-2.

The Bronx team won the initial two sets by each player on the floor doing their job well.  The Panthers did come back and won the next two sets as the Broncos team energy flow did not increase.

The deciding 5th set was the Broncos best performance of the evening due to an increase in the pace and energy that resulted in taking control of the play to earn a victory.

Several Broncos players had an outstanding game.  Jackeline Elwin, playing her first game in the Libero position, did a spectacular job.  Her all-around game had good serves and smart defensive positions for making tough plays.  She was focused on the game action with energy and enthusiasm.   Renee-Mary Dussuau served well at crucial times in the sets.

Ashley Suarez and Yeidy Montes de Oca showed consistency, adapted well to game situations and provided leadership by example.  Overall, every Bronx player had good playing moments during the game.

This Broncos win was the result of a complete team effort.

The season record for Bronx CC is 3-5.  In the CUNY Athletic Conference, the record is 2-2.
