BCC would hold the lead for the remainder of the contest and advance to the finals on Friday against Hostos with a final score of 93-87.

Kevin Vanderpool would be named the Modell's Player of the Game for his 19 point, 6 rebound effort.

"First and foremost, a great effort was put forth by my team," said Vanderpool. "I'm happy with the win and looking forward to Hostos on Friday."

Bronx head coach Sean Kelly, who was happy with his team's performance, went on to explain: "Kingsborough is a very well coached program and we were fortunate to come out with a win."
