Box Score 11/21/14 – Stone Ridge, NY
The BCC Men's Basketball team extended their winning streak to 6 as they defeated the Senators of Ulster CC 97-65. Their 32 point victory was the Broncos' largest margin for a win this year in a Region XV game.
Bronx jumped out to a sizable lead on the strength of 69% shooting from the floor in the first half. The Broncos shot 50% from behind the 3-point arc for the game, including going 7 for 11 before halftime. By intermission the score was 61-37 in favor of BCC.
In the second half, the Broncos clamped down on defense, allowing just 28 points the rest of the way. Though the Bronx scoring attack wasn't as efficient as it was in the first, the game was never really in doubt as the team cruised to the victory.
Freshman
Eddie Jackson led 6 Broncos who scored in double digits with 18 points.
Jatton Pierce-Bias had another well-rounded game as he contributed in all phases of the game, putting up 15 points, 7 rebounds, 5 steals and 6 assists.
With the win, the Broncos improve to 6-0 on the season and return home on Saturday, November 22
nd as they take on Lincoln College of New England at 1pm in the Alumni Gym.
