Box Score 1/8/2013 – Suffern, NY

For the second time in two weeks the Lady Broncos were defeated by Rockland CC in a regional matchup, 75-49.  With the loss, the team falls to 4-5 overall, and 4-4 within Region XV.

Dorae Murray led the team with 14 points and 3 assists, while Hivelize Escobar posted 12 points and 9 rebounds for the Broncos.  Kaylee Rodriguez added a season high 8 points and 5 rebounds, and Octavia Eubanks netted 7 points for the night.

Early in the first half, Bronx held a 14-10 lead and the score remained close for much of the period.  The Lady Broncos found themselves down by just two points at the half with the score 43-32.  The second half was a different story though, as Rockland tightened up their defense, limiting BCC to just 17 points in the final half.  In the end, Rockland was able to extend their lead on their way to the decisive victory. 

Bronx returns to action on Thursday, January 9^th at 6pm as they take on the Tigers of Queensborough CC at 6pm in the Alumni Gymnasium.
