FLUSHING, NY - Bronx Baseball's Angel Calderon earned the CUNYAC CC Baseball Sportsmanship Award, as announced by the CUNYAC last week. The Santiago, Dominican Republic native played as an infielder and outfielder for the Broncos and played in all 23 games this season. In those games, Calderon registered 56 at bats, 14 hits, 13 runs, 10 runs batted in and 11 walks. Calderon has shown consistency during the season and is well deserving of this accolade, lifting his teammates every game and showing great sportsmanship.
