The Bronx Community College men's basketball team dropped its final CUNYAC contest of the 2017-2018 season, falling to the Caimans of Hostos Community College by a score of 79-65 on Thursday evening. With the loss, the Broncos dipped to a mark of 6-20 on the year (1-7 CUNYAC). The Caimans improved to 8-14 on the season, and a mark of 5-3 in league competition.

Despite the loss for Bronx Community College, the Broncos were led by Herve Awono, as he posted a double-double with 18 points and 10 rebounds. Rafael Ruan scored 17 points while snatching 14 rebounds and recording six steals, and it was Hector Montano Valenzuela adding 16 points and collecting 10 boards.

The Broncos will close out their regular season on February 15, as Bronx Community College will take on Rockland Community College at the Alumni Gymnasium. Start-time is scheduled for 7:00pm. The contest will serve as a rematch of the thrilling game the two teams played back on December 5, 2017, when the Broncos picked up a 69-67 victory.
