The Bronx Community College women's basketball team picked up a victory on Tuesday evening, outlasting the Vikings of Westchester Community College by a score of 64-61. The game was played at the Alumni Gymnasium in the Bronx, NY. With the win, the Broncos improved to 2-16 on the season, while the Vikings stayed winless at 0-8.
 
Kayla Martinez led the way for Bronx Community College, as she netted a career-high 21 points for the Broncos while also grabbing three rebounds. Nia Simmons contributed 18 points, six rebounds, five assists, and three steals, and Asia Nelson added 10 points and 21 rebounds.

Paige Collins led the way for Westchester Community College, as she scored 18 points. Shanaya Jones added 16, and Alexandria Knight netted 13.
 
The Broncos will return to action tomorrow evening, as they'll take to the road to play their final CUNYAC game of the year – a contest against Hostos Community College. Start-time for that contest is set for 6:00pm.
