After coming off the road with a much needed win, the Broncos returned home to host the Generals of Sullivan County Community College.  The General are nationally ranked in the NJCAA Division III.

The Generals immediately broke out of the gate on 9 – 0 run.  Once again the Broncos found themselves in a race to catch up.  With strong play from forward Oluwatosin Onabanjo and guard Andre Carthorn, the Broncos closed in on the Sullivan lead to tie the game at 30 points, but the Generals broke away again scoring 5 points to end the half 35 to 30.
 
The Broncos returned to the second half focused but lacked the scoring needed to catch the Generals.  Even though Broncos guard Andre Carthorn scored another 12 points in the second half to finish the game with 24 points, it wasn't enough to stop the momentum of the Generals. 

The Broncos had difficulty competing with the Sullivan Generals big men down low.  Support from Broncos guard Hector Montano Valenzuela, pulling in 20 rebounds and scoring 10 points in the game, wasn't enough turn the tide.  The Broncos suffered another loss at the hands of the Sullivan Generals by a score of 72 to 59.

The season record for the Bronx Community College team is now 4 - 7.
 
The next game for the Broncos will be December 9, 2017 when the Broncos will be traveling to the Borough of Manhattan Community College to take on the Panthers in a Saturday afternoon CUNY Athletic Conference/Regional matchup.   Tip-off is at 2 pm.
