Coming off a win against Dutchess CC at home in the Bronx, the Broncos traveled to Queens on Thurs. December 14, 2017 to face the Tigers of Queensborough Community College.

The Bronx Community College Men's basketball team found themselves entering the game with only seven players and looking to capture their first CUNY Athletic Conference win of the season.

The Broncos won the tip-off and quickly sprung into action bringing the game to the Tigers.  With tough play and the game tied at 11, the Broncos scoring began to falter, the Tigers seized the opportunity and started their scoring drive pulling away from the Broncos.  Contributions from Bronx forward Herve Awono 12 points and guard Terrell Wigfall's 11 points couldn't close the gap at the half.  Queensborough's seven 3 pointers gave the Tigers an 8 point lead over the Bronx at halftime.

With the Bronx down 43 to 35 to start the second half, the Broncos' woes continued with three Broncos fouling out of the game.  First to fall was forward Herve Awono who put in 16 total points before fouling out, second was forward Jonathan Perrin who tallied 10 total points before he fouled out and last to go, with about 1:20 minutes left on the clock was guard Mark West who contributed 14 total points before he fouled out.  The Broncos, with no men left on the bench, battled as best they could with four men remaining on the court to finish the game.

The Broncos finished the game suffering another CUNYAC loss at the claws of the Tigers 82 to 66 bringing the Broncos CUNYAC record to 0 wins and 4 losses, the NJCAA Region IV record to 3 wins and 7 losses and 5 wins and 9 losses over-all.

This is the Broncos last game of the first half of the 2017-2018 season.

The Broncos will be resuming play at home on Thursday, January 4, 2018 at 7 pm against the Tigers of Queensborough Community College.
