Box Score November 11, 2017 - Bronx, NY

The Bronx Community College Broncos Men's basketball team travelled to Brooklyn, NY to play the Kingsborough Community College The Wave at their Gymnasium.

The Wave won the match by score of 73-66 over the Broncos.

The loss is the 1st one for the Broncos in the 2017 - 2018 season.

For the Bronx CC team to win the game, the team needed consistent performance in all aspects of the offense and defense system.  

Today the Broncos rebounding was below average and that fact hurt the team chances for a CUNY Athletic Conference win.

The team offensive tempo was slow.   The Broncos player on defense stood looking at the movement of the ball instead of moving toward securing the ball.  These lapses contributed to the difference in the score at the end.

During the game, the Bronx CC team played well for long periods of time while being on the lead most of the game.  When team play was coordinated and in tempo, the team efficiency improved significantly but did not last.

The play of Terrell Wigfall (25 points), Mark West (12 points) and Hector Montano Valenzuela (11 points) was strong the complete game.  

The next game for the Bronx CC Men's team is at home in Alumni Gymnasium playing Hostos Community College at 8:00 PM on Tuesday, November 14, 2017..  The game is part of the CUNY AC schedule.
