The Bronx Community College Lady Broncos travelled to Bayside, NY to play the Queensborough Community College Lady Tigers at the RFK Gymnasium.   This game was a CUNY Athletic Conference and a NJCAA Region 15 match.

It was an exciting game.  Both teams played hard and had scoring runs that kept the score close throughout the game.

In the 4th Quarter, the Lady Tigers began to close in on the Lady Broncos lead with several three point baskets.  The team reduced the Broncos lead to 5 points.  At this point, the Lady Broncos gathered themselves and began to score starting with back-to-back 3 point plays by # 1Keeshell Garrett.  Now the Lady Broncos were able to finsh the game.

The final score was Bronx CC - 71 Queensborough CC - 50

Julia Hohn, Thalia Rodriguez, Jennifer Lightner and Semina Radoncic played well.   Jyashia Velazquez demostrated good ball control skills, motivation and toughness.
