The Suffolk County Community College Sharks Women's basketball team defeated the Bronx Community College Broncos by a final score of 59 - 54. 

This was an exciting game.  Ball movement and control were important for both teams.  The clear goal for both teams was to move the ball to the player that could take the best open shot.

The Sharks ball movement and the making of open shots was better than the Broncos.

The Broncos team effort was present after a slow scoring 1st quarter.  The team started scoring and made the score close.  But on defense, there were not enough timely stops.  When there were opportunities on offense to take the lead, the team did not make the needed plays.

Playing well for the Broncos were Keeshell Garrett (20 points), Julia Hohn (13 points) and Thalia Rodriguez (11 points).

The Bronx Community College Women's basketball team season record is 11 - 9.
