Everyone is an expert in college sports once the results of the games are known.  What should happen may or may not have  occurred.  The reason for sports competition is that no one knows what happens in games.    

When teams at the same level of competition play, things happen.  

The Bronx Community College Lady Broncos Women's basketball team won 2 home games and loss one away game during the week that ended on December 11, 2016.

The Bronx CC Broncos Men's basketball team loss 3 games (2 at home and 1 away ) during the same week. 

In the six games both teams played, the team performances and results varied significantly.  

The teams' statistics matched well the season average performances for the Broncos.

A comparison in points difference in the losses between the teams show that the Men's loss 3 games by the total of 15 points.  The Lady Broncos only loss during the week was by 44 points.  What is the conclusion?

The lesson for the 6th week of the season is that the Broncos teams play consistantly.  Both teams are pretty good.  Players are testing their skills and performing to their ability no matter who is their competition.

Our teams are playing above average as an unit.   The teams play fast, are tough in all aspects of the game and compete until the end of the games.  Results vary but not the motivation, effort and sportsmanship.  

Our athletes are learning to win because they know it is about the team - the team unit - working together to achieve the team goal. 

The season record for the Lady Broncos is Win - 6 Loss - 5.  In the CUNY Athletic Conference the record is Win 2 -  Loss 2.

The season record for the Broncos is Win - 9 Loss - 6.    The CUNY Athletic Conference record is Win 2 - Loss 2.

There is no better place to view basketball competition of the highest level than with the Broncos team play.
