The third week of the 2016 - 2017 regular season for the Bronx Community College Women's and Men's team ended today.

The Men's team had a win and the Women's team a loss in the home games against the Hostos Community College Caimans teams.  They were the only games played during this week.

The Broncos teams learned that team play is fundamental, that reducing turnovers and having ball control does make a difference, and that making free throws the complete game helps in the score of the game.

Both Bronx CC teams learned that the defensive effort must be intense and disrupt the opponents offensive attack strategy with stops.   Improved rebounding and not giving second-shot opportunities at the defensive end is an advantage the Broncos must implement.

The season record of the Men's team is 7 - 0 with a 7-game win streak.   In the CUNY Athletic Conference is 2 - 0.

The Lady Broncos season record is 3 - 3.  In the CUNY AC the team record is 1-1.

On Tuesday, November 22, 2016, both Bronx CC teams travel to Garden City, Long Island to play away games at 6PM and at 8PM against Nassau Community College.  Both games are part of the NJCAA Region XV season schedule.
