Bunker Hill CC (MA) Bulldogs Women's basketball team visited the Bronx to play the Bronx CC Lady Broncos.

It was a perfect moment for Women's basketball.   Outdoors, it was a beautiful winter day.  Sunny and bright.

The game was exciting since the initial jump ball.  Both teams played with energy but had trouble with their offense and long range shots.  The score at the end of the 1st quarter was tied at 14.

The Lady Broncos took the lead in the 2nd quarter by scoring 13 points and holding Lady Bulldogs to 4 points.

In the second half, Bunker Hill CC had several good scoring runs.   The Bronx CC team was able to have good runs to maintain the lead but the FG% was low and there were no 3pts basket made.  The game final score was 66-47 for the Lady Broncos.

Shakia Artist and Angel Mbamalu had good all around games.  Their ball control stats were good.  Shakia Artist had 20 rebounds and  Angel Mbamalu had 14 rebounds. 

Community College Women's basketball game on a Sunday afternooon showcased competion and sportsmanship at its best.
