The team play, player effort and motivation to fiinsh with a win was displayed tonight at Alumni Gymnasium by the Bronx CC Women's and Men's teams.

Both Bronx CC teams are tough.

The Lady Broncos won over Rockland Communty College by a final score of 61-45.  Barbara Castro scored 11 point and had 7 assists.  Angel Mbamalu scored 10 points.  Thalia Rodriguez had 10 rebounds.  Julia Hohn contributed with 6 steals.

The highlight  of the game is the Bronx team performance where each player did their assigned job with energy and desire to rach the goal.

Tonight's win is the 10th of the season.

The Bronx Men's team won their 5th consecutive game in January 2016.    Rockalnd CC played the Broncos well in the 1st half but at the end the final score was 75-53.

Richard Gethers Jr. scored 18 points and collected 14 rebounds in a strong effort.   Sophomore Jatton Pierce-Bias had a consistant all-around game with 11 points and 10 assists in a busy game.

This win is the 14th of the current season.
 

Next for the Broncos is a Thursday night double header in historic Alumni Gymnasium vs  CUNY Athletic Conference rival Kingsborough Community College.  The Women's game starts at 6:00PM adn is followed by the Men's game at 8:00PM.
