Box Score 2/5/14 – Bronx, NY

On a night that marked the final home game of the season for the Lady Broncos, the team fell to the Falcons of Dutchess Community College yesterday, 59-46. As the last opportunity to play at home this year, 2^nd year players Dorae Murray, Izet Colon, Tylasia Davis, Yamilet Perez and Chelsey Harris were honored in a pregame ceremony.

For the second game in a row, Bronx got off to a slow start. Struggling to score early, they trailed at the half 33-17. As they experienced in their previous game vs. Suffolk, the Lady Broncos found a scoring rhythm in the 2^nd half, but the Falcons steady scoring kept Bronx at a comfortable distance the rest of the way.

Hivelize Escobar led the team with 30 points and 12 rebounds. Chelsey Harris helped on the glass with 8 rebounds for BCC.

With the loss, the team falls to 7-11 overall and 7-10 within Region XV. The team returns to action on Friday, February 7^th at 6:30pm as they travel to Queensborough CC for a CUNYAC matchup.
