Bronx Women's Basketball team was eliminated in the first round of the Region XV Tournament Tuesday night following a loss to Sullivan County Community College. BCC fell by the score of 62-24.

The Lady Broncos offense struggled to get in rhythm throughout the game as a result of strong interior defense by Sullivan. At halftime, Sullivan held a 20-point lead. Early in the second half, BCC tried to chip away but the combination of turnovers and the already large deficit proved to be too much to overcome.

BCC's overall record now stands at 8-16, with one more game left in the season. The last matchup will be a make-up game from earlier in the season against Hostos Community College. The date of the rescheduled contest has not been announced yet.
