The Lady Broncos fall to Tigers in rematch at Queensborough 69-44. The Tigers have gotten the best of the BCC in both meetings they have had this season.

Freshman Guard Hivelize Escobar had a strong performance in the game with 28 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists, and 2 steals, even though the Broncos came up short.  Sophomore Dorae Murray added 6 points, 9 assists, and 2 steals to the Broncos performance.

The Bronx only trailed Queensborough by 8 points at the half 33-25. The Lady Broncos hoped to have better luck against Tigers in the second half, but weren't blessed with that luck at all. The Tigers came out strong in the second half and went on to run away with the game
holding onto a 25 point lead to defeat the Lady Broncos 69-44.

The loss to Queensborough brings Bronx Women's Basketball team's overall record to 7-12 for the season. The Lady Broncos look to end their four game losing streak against Hostos Community College this Tuesday February 11, 2014 at 6pm in The Swamp. BCC looks to even out the series with Hostos Community College who got the better of them earlier in the season.
