The Bronx Broncos jumped out to an early lead Tuesday night against the Suffolk County Sharks and maintained a comfortable lead for most of the contest, winning the game by a score of 78-68.

In the first half, Bronx was able to hold onto a double digit lead behind balanced scoring and limited turnovers. Guard Yohan Almonte led the way, shooting 100% from the floor in the first half for 12 points to go with 5 steals.

The second half was a bit closer, with the Broncos coming out of halftime struggling on offense. Suffolk remained determined to close the gap, eventually tying the game midway into the second half. After being that close, BCC was able to pull away the rest of the half and find their way scoring. Bronx Forward Milton McFarquhar led the way in the second half, scoring 12 of his 16 points and snatching 7 of his 11 rebounds to give him a double-double. McFarquhar led 5 Broncos in double figures to complete a team effort.

The BCC Men's Basketball team returns to action on the road against LaGuardia in Long Island City, New York at 7 PM.
