Box Score 1/8/2013 – Suffern, NY

After trailing for much of the game, the Broncos were unable to complete a late comeback as they fell to the Fighting Hawks of Rockland CC yesterday by the score of 78-71.  The loss is the third in a row for BCC, who has struggled of late vs. regional opponents.

Bronx started off the game flat, scoring only 31 points in the first half, as they hit the locker room trailing by 15, 46-31.  In the second half a rejuvenated Bronco team fought hard and was able to come all the way back to cut the Fighting Hawk lead to just 2 points with a minute to go.  But a late 3-point field goal by Rockland sealed the game and they pulled away from there for the win.

With the loss, the Broncos fall to 10-4 overall and 4-4 within Region XV.  The team returns to action on Thursday, January 9th at 8pm as they take on Queensborough CC in the Alumni Gymnasium.
