The Broncos Men's Basketball  team was victorious in their inaugural matchup with LaGuardia CC on Thursday, winning by the score of 84-71.  The matchup marks the first time the teams faced off as the Red Hawks hosted their first ever NJCAA Men's Basketball game.

BCC received contributions from many players as Taylor Foster recorded his 6^th double-double in the last 7 games with 19 points and 11 rebounds.  Brandon Bermeo also recorded a double-double scoring 18 points and pulling down 10 rebounds.  Other scorers in double figures included Stephen Wilson and Abdel Peguero who had 17 and 16 points, respectively. 

Bronx took a slim 1-point lead in the locker room at halftime as the first year Red Hawks provided tough competition for the Broncos.  Though LaGuardia remained within striking distance for much of the second half, BCC was able to pull away late for the 13-point victory.

With the win, Bronx moves to 10-1 overall and 4-1 within Region XV.  The Broncos return to action on Saturday, December, 7^th at 3pm as they play host to Hostos CC in the Battle of the Bronx.
