Broncos defeated by Vikings 4-0 at Ohio Field in final match of 2025 campaign

The Bronx Community College men's soccer team wrapped up its 2025 campaign this past Tuesday, falling to the Vikings of Westchester by a score of 4-0. The match took place at Ohio Field in the Bronx. With the defeat, the Broncos finalized their season at 1-9-2, while the Vikings improved to 9-2-2.

Westchester scored a pair of first half goals, courtesy of Francesco Giglio (12:00, from Miguel Leal Diaz) and Ditlum Bajrami (35:00, from Kenny Mocha). The Vikings added to their advantage in the second half of action, as Celso Dasilva slashed a ball home at 60:00 (from Ethan Dwyer), and Jorge Gonzalez Lasal capped the scoring with an unassisted tally at 73:00.

Bronx outshot Westchester 13-12 for the afternoon, but the Broncos were unable to produce a goal.

Goalkeeper Miguel Leal Diaz registered the victory for the Vikings between the pipes, earning a shutout while making six saves. His counterpart, Broncos starter Maxwell Asomani Asare, took the loss by allowing two goals while making four saves.
