The Bronx Community College women's volleyball team dropped a pair of matches on Sunday afternoon, falling to Rockland Community College and Westchester Community College both in three sets.
In the Broncos' match against the Hawks, Bronx fell by scores of 18-25, 9-25, and 19-25.
Angelica Aquino put forth another strong effort, tallying 10 kills and contributing seven digs. She hit .280 for the match. Additionally,
Lisbeth Guerrero added five kills, and setter
Heder Rodriguez tallied 17 assists while also collecting five digs.
Bronx' defeat to the Vikings was by scores of 14-25, 18-25, and 6-25. Aquino finished the match with three kills and a pair of service aces, and Rodriguez added seven assists and three digs.
The Broncos will return to action on Tuesday evening, as Bronx will take on CUNYAC foe Kingsborough. The match will take place at the Alumni Gym. Start-time is scheduled for 7:00pm.
