The Broncos' women's volleyball team picked up a victory on Thursday evening, turning back the Colonials of the Community College of Philadelphia by scores of 25-15, 25-13, and 25-15 at Alumni Gym in the Bronx. With the win, the Broncos improved to 3-12 on the season, while the Colonials dipped to 0-13.

As a team, Bronx recorded 26 service aces on the evening in what was a dominant performance.

Heder Rodriguez led the way for the Broncos, as she posted a match-high seven kills, nine assists, two digs, and an ace. Angelica Aquino contributed three kills, a match-high 10 aces, and three digs, and Lisbeth Guerrero added three kills and eight aces.

Despite the loss for the Community College of Philadelphia, the Colonials were led by Andrea Bowleg, as she recorded a team-high four kills while also adding a pair of assists.

The Broncos will have Friday off before returning to action on Saturday afternoon, as Bronx will travel to Loch Sheldrake, NY to take on Sullivan County Community College at 12:00pm, followed by a match against Orange County Community College at 1:15pm.
