BRONX – Broncos men's soccer picked up its first win of the season in grand fashion Thursday afternoon, besting visiting Dutchess Community College 11-3 at Ohio Field.

Ahamed Timite and Daniel Ruiz led Bronx with two goals each, while Henderson Bruney, Mohammed Jagne, Philip Bredu, Djime Keita, Abdul Walker, and Hanzah Mohsen added one score each.

Jagne also added a pair of assists, and Bredu and Henry Adusei picked up and assist each.

In net, Lamin Mbye tallied three saves in the win.

Bronx outshot Dutchess 18-3 in the first half, going into intermission ahead 5-1. On the day, the Broncos tallied 32 shots to 10 for Dutchess.

At 1-2, the Broncos return to play on Tuesday, back at Ohio Field at 4:00 against Suffolk County Community College.
