Soccer Drops Tough Battle

The Bronx Community College Broncos Men's Soccer team played the Queensborough Community College Tigers team today in Bayside, NY.

The match produced a tough battle.  The final score was 3-2 in favor of the Tigers.


This CUNY Athletic Conference match was important in the standings to determine the teams playing in the Conference Championship game.

The Broncos effort was strong the whole game on offense and defense.  

In the 1st period, the Tigers scored 3 goals early to take what appeared to be a comfortable lead. 

The Bronx team scored one goal late in the period by Samir Halalou and another goal in the 2nd period by Darius Leyland.
 
The play on defense during the 2nd period was outstanding.

The Broncos season record is now Win – 2 Loss – 7.   In the CUNY Athletic Conference the record is Win – 1 Loss – 2

The last regular season game for the Bronx CC team will be in Middletown, NY against the Orange Community College Hawks on Saturday, October 14, 2017 starting at 12:00 PM.
