A college soccer match played at Ohio Field in a nice sunny late summer day is an extraordinary event.

For the Bronx Community College Broncos Men's Soccer team, the game was the Fall 2016 Season home opener.  The opponent was Rockland Community College Hawks.

Both teams showed up ready to play with motivation and intensity.  The Broncos played nine (9) student athletes who implemented an offensive and defensive strategy that made for a well played and competitive game.

Scoring goals for the Broncos were Wesley Ordonez Cuadrado and Abedayo Ojo who scored early in the 1st period.   The Hawks offense dominated the 2nd period scoring 4 goals.

The Broncos played very well today.  The effort was consistant and tough.   The team only had nine players eligible to play. By the second half, the fatigue definitely began to set in.  

The final score of the match was Rockland CC -  5 Bronx CC - 2

The season record for the Bronx CC team is Win - 0 Loss - 2
