Broncos Defense Starts Counter Attack to Goal.

BRONCOS Soccer defeats the Rockland CC Hawks on the road

On a beautiful day in Rockland County, the 1 and 1 Bronx CC Broncos took the field agianst Region 15 opponent Rockland CC Hawks. 

From the onset, the Broncos found themselves going toe-to-toe with the Hawks. 

BCC stayed mainly on the defensive until with just under 15 minutes of play left in the 1st half, the Broncos attacked the Hawks goal and with an assisting pass from Frank Yankep, Moro Omar found the back of the net giving the Broncos a 1 nil lead. 

With time running out of the first half, the Rockland Hawks again went on the offensive.  Broncos goalkeeper Romeo Kelly endeavored to maintain the Broncos lead and had several key saves, however, the RCC Hawks persevered and scored a game tying goal to end the half.  
   

After obtaining some inspirational halftime guidance from Head Coach Donkor and Asst. Coach Thomas, the Broncos took the field refocused. 

Within two minutes of the second half, with an assist from Kamaroudine Tchabalandja, Mario Folkes scored, breaking the tie making the score 2 to 1.  With new determination, the Broncos' offensive play increased but the Rockland Hawks weren't about to give up the fight.  Once again, the Hawks got the ball past Broncos goalkeeper Romeo Kelly to tie the game two all. 

The Broncos felt the blow but steadied themselves and began their own attack cumulating in three Bronco goals provided by Benjamin Vicku, Fallou Sall and  Kamaroudine Tchabalandja to secure the lead and win the game.

 The now 2 and 1 Broncos next game will be at home on September 22, 2015 versus the Wave of Kingsborough Community College at 4:00 PM on Ohio Field at Bronx Community College.
