Box Score 9/30/2014 – Bronx, NY  

The offensive struggles of Bronx's Men's Soccer team continued yesterday as they fell to Middlesex County College 2-0 in a non- region matchup.  Though the team continued to play tough defense throughout the game, they were unable to convert on a few key scoring chances. 

The match started out with neither team able to gain an advantage.  BCC, was able to make a few streaking plays for scoring chances while MCC had a few of their own.  Late in the first period, Middlesex was able to get off a high lob shot that caught the Broncos by surprise and found the back of the net.  The Blue Colts added a second goal midway through the second half, and were able to keep BCC scoreless the rest of the way. 

Romeo Kelly had 6 saves while El Sadate Idrissou took 6 shots in the loss.  The Broncos now fall to 1-5-1 but maintain a 1-0-1 record within CUNY.  They return to action at 4pm on Thursday, October 2^nd at Ohio Field as they host Orange CC in a regional matchup.
