Bronx generates just 45 points in CUNY loss to LaGuardia Red Hawks in Long Island City, NY

The Broncos' men's basketball team is still searching for its first victory on the 2025-2026 campaign, falling to the Red Hawks of LaGuardia Community College by a score of 67-45 on Tuesday evening. The contest took place in Long Island City, NY. With the loss, Bronx dipped to a mark of 0-11 on the 2025-2026 campaign (0-5 CUNY), while the hosts improved to 3-8 (2-2 CUNY).

Despite the loss for the Broncos, Ismael Martinez paced the Broncos with a team-high 11 points to go along with two rebounds and a pair of assists. Veteran Alexander Hattel netted 10 points and snatched five rebounds. Said Martin snatched a team-best 10 boards, and Timothaeus Graham's four assists led all Bronx players.
