The Broncos' men's basketball team came close to solidifying its first victory of the 2024-2025 campaign, but the team came up just a tad short, falling to the Sharks of Suffolk County Community College by a score of 78-77. The Broncos trailed by seven at halftime (37-30), and outscored the hosts 47-41 in the second half. Bronx had an opportunity to win the game in the closing seconds, but Wenzel missed a dunk, clinching the victory for the Sharks.
