Broncos put forth tough effort, still fall to LaGuardia Red Hawks in four sets in Garden City, NY

The Broncos' women's volleyball team dropped a road match on Saturday afternoon, falling to the Red Hawks of LaGuardia Community College by scores of 25-20, 21-25, 15-25, and 20-25. The match took place in Garden City, NY.

Despite the loss for Bronx, standout freshman Pamela Sierra put forth a dominant effort, finishing with 13 kills to go along with 11 digs. Naomi Rodriguez finalized her afternoon with four kills, 14 assists, and four digs, and Valerie De Los Santos added 10 digs. Finally, it was Shanice Walters earning four service aces on the day.

Bronx will play its home finale on Tuesday evening, as the Broncos welcome the Caimans of Hostos Community College to the Alumni Gymnasium. Start time is scheduled for 7:00pm.
