Broncos defeated in straight sets by Tigers of Fashion Institute of Technology

The Broncos' women's volleyball team dropped a road match on Thursday evening, falling to the Tigers of Fashion Institute of Technology by scores of 4-25, 10-25, and 14-25. The match took place in New York, NY. With the defeat, Bronx Community College dipped to a record of 1-16 on the 2024 campaign.

Despite the loss for Bronx, Valerie De Los Santos registered three kills to go along with eight digs, and Naomi Rodriguez added six assists and three service aces. Shanice Walters contributed three solo blocks, and Andrea Ramos tallied three digs.

The Broncos will wrap-up their 2024 campaign next Saturday in a CUNYAC tri-match at Kingsborough Community College. Bronx will take on the Tigers of Queensborough at 12:00pm, and that'll be followed immediately by a match against the host Wave (1:15pm).
