The Broncos' men's basketball team dropped a Saturday matinee contest earlier today, falling to the Tigers of Roxbury Community College by a score of 92-76. The contest took place at the Alumni Gymnasium in the Bronx. With the defeat, Bronx dipped to a mark of 3-18 on the 2023-2024 campaign.

The game was tied at 20 apiece with just over eight minutes remaining in the opening half, before the Broncos went on a ferocious 17-3 run over a span of 4:19 to take a 37-23 advantage. Good scored nine points during that aforementioned spurt, while Wenzel netted six. Roxbury spent the final 4:02 of the half slicing into its deficit, outscoring Bronx 10-4 to pull to within eight (41-33) after 20 minutes of action.

3:48 into the second half, a converted triple by DeLeon tied the game at 46 apiece. Two more buckets by DeLeon, and a basket by Harris, put Roxbury up 52-46, prompting a Broncos timeout. Coming out of the timeout, two straight baskets by Good pulled Bronx to within two (52-50) with 14:18 remaining.

Over the ensuing 7:01, the Tigers went on a 24-3 run to take a commanding 76-53 advantage, all but putting an end to the Broncos' chances to win the game. Roxbury would go up by as many as 25 (83-58), before winning the contest by 16 points.
