He also added a pair of rebounds, two dimes, and two steals. Herbert Gary posted a double-double with 14 points, 13 boards, and a pair of steals, and Taijay Good contributed 12 points, six boards, a pair of assists, and a swatted shot.

Good paced Bronx in its loss to the Sharks on Saturday afternoon, connecting on 10 of his 14 attempts from the floor, and six of his nine shots from the free throw line, to finish with a game-high 27 points. He also snatched three rebounds while adding a pair of dimes. Finally, it was Dominique Norman narrowly missing a double-double, as he netted 10 points, snatched nine boards, and tied for the game-high of four steals.

Suffolk was led by Joshua Fenner's team-high 24 points. He nailed eight of his 13 attempts from the floor, including four for eight from downtown. The Sharks raced out to a 10-4 advantage in the opening 2:55 of action, but an 8-0 Broncos run over a span of 2:39 put Bronx ahead 12-10. That run featured two buckets by Good, a basket by Rosa, and a hoop by Gary. Later, with the game tied 20 apiece, and 10:04 remaining in the first half, Bronx went on another 6-0 spurt to snatch a 26-20 edge. Good, Rosa, and Gary all had baskets during that aforementioned spurt.

A 13-6 Suffolk run put Suffolk ahead 33-32 with 1:54 left on the first half clock. The Broncos snatched the lead again on a converted three-pointer by Norman to push Bronx ahead 35-33, but the Sharks would regain the advantage when Angel Duran knocked down a wide-open trifecta at the buzzer to put the Sharks up 36-35 at the half.

The Sharks never trailed in the second half, going up by as many as 13 points (69-56 with 7:59 remaining). The Broncos did pull to within nine points on a Rosa freebee with 3:31 left, but Suffolk outscored Bronx 9-5 down the stretch to account for the 13-point victory (82-69).
