Broncos women's basketball team loss to Caimans 82-42

The Bronx Community College Broncos women's basketball team suffered a CUNY Athletic Conference loss to the Hostos Community College Caimans, 82-46, at Alumni Gym on Thursday evening.   The Broncos drop to 1-7 overall and 1-2 in the CUNYAC play. The Caimans advance to 10-2 for the season and 3-0 in conference contests.

The highlights of the game for the Broncos were the team effort and the team work on the boards by having 48 rebounds.   The team field goal percentage for the game was below the regular season average and had a high number of turnovers controlling the basketball.

Keyanna Drew was the high scorer for the Broncos with 24 points.  Shawnasia Ofaire had 13 rebounds and scored 12 points.  Catherline McNeal scored 4 points and 8 rebounds.   Nyla Harris scored 2 points and had 6 rebounds.  Frances Harris alos scored  2 points and had 5 rebounds.  

The Broncos travel to Paramus, NJ on February 10, 2022 to play at Bergen Community College Bulldogs starting at 5:00 PM.
