The Bronx  Community College Broncos women's basketball team (1-8, 1-2 CUNYAC) played the last game of the regular season schedule against the Monroe College - Bronx Express (18-7, 6-0) in New Rochelle, NY.   The Express is ranked # 7 in this week national NJCAA poll for teams playing in Division III.

The final score was 62-39 in favor of the Express.

The highlight for the Broncos was the play of Shawnasia Ofaire.  She led Bronx Community College in four categories with a game-high 18 points to go along with a team-high 19 rebounds, six steals, and three assists.  Catherline McNeal scored 7 points and had 5 rebounds.  Nyla Harris had 8 rebounds and scored 4 points.  Keyanna Drew scored 6 points and had 6 rebounds.  Frances Harris had 2 assists an scored 2 points.   Alyssa Burgos scored 2 points.

The next game for the Broncos team is the first post season experience for the players.  On Friday, February 18, 2022 at 6:00 PM at the Borough of Manhattan Community College Gymnasium, the Broncos will play in the CUNY Athletic Conference Championship Tournament Women's Division facing the Hostos Community College Caimans in the Championship Game.
