Tilquan Rucker's dazzling performance (44 points, eight rebounds, six steals) leads Bronx to 81-79 win over ASA-Manhattan

The Broncos' men's basketball team snapped their two-game losing streak on Thursday evening, defeating the Avengers of ASA-Manhattan by a score of 81-79 at the Alumni Gym. With the victory, Bronx improved to a record of 8-12 on the season. It was the Broncos' eighth game this season that was decided by five points or less.

In the victory for Bronx, Tilquan Rucker was masterful, netting a game-high 44 points while connecting on 17 of his 35 attempts from the floor. The standout guard also drilled nine of his 13 shots from the charity stripe while snatching eight rebounds, recording six steals, and tallying four assists. Veteran Hector Montano added nine points and 16 rebounds, and William Paradise finalized his evening with 10 points and three rebounds. Malik Hamilton finished with seven points, seven steals, and seven rebounds.

Bronx will return to action on Tuesday evening, as the Broncos will take to the road to battle CUNYAC foe BMCC. Start-time is scheduled for 7:30pm.
