The Broncos' men's basketball team picked up a much-needed victory on Thursday evening in Brooklyn, NY, defeating Kingsborough by a score of 84-71 in a CUNYAC contest. With the victory, Bronx improved to a mark of 5-10 on the 2018-2019 season (3-3 in conference play), while the Wave slipped a mark of 1-15 on the season (0-5 in CUNYAC action).
In the victory for the Broncos,
Tilquan Rucker continued his stellar season by netting 24 points. He also tallied five steals, grabbed four rebounds, recorded four assists, and swatted a pair of shots.
Malik Hamilton contributed 21 points, eight assists, five steals, and three rebounds, and
Rickardo Byfield chipped-in with 10 points and three rebounds. Finall,
Hector Montano narrowly missed recording a double-double, finishing his evening with eight points while grabbing 10 boards.
Bronx will look to make it two consecutive wins on Saturday afternoon, as the Broncos will travel to Suffern, NY to take on Rockland Community College. Start-time is scheduled for 1:00pm.
