Tilquan Rucker and Malik Hamilton dominate for Bronx, but Broncos fall to Caimans in CUNYAC action, 106-102

The Broncos' men's basketball team dropped a conference game Tuesday evening, falling to the Caimans of Hostos by a score of 106-102. With the loss, Bronx dipped to a mark of 1-2 on the 2018-2019 season (1-1 CUNYAC), while Hostos improved its mark to 2-3 on the season.

Despite the loss for the Broncos, Tilquan Rucker put forth a masterful performance, connecting on 15 of his 26 shots from the floor (and six of his eight attempts from the charity stripe) to finish with a game-high 38 points. He also added six rebounds, six steals, and three assists. Malik Hamilton contributed 32 points, seven rebounds, four steals, two assists, and two blocks, and Elijah Lopez and William Paradise added 12 and 10 points, respectively.

In the victory for the Caimans, Nakeem Hamilton paced his squad, netting a team-high 29 points while recording a game-high 10 assists. He also contributed three steals and three rebounds, as well. Veton Hasangjekaj posted a double-double with 22 points and 10 rebounds, and it was Donovan Wilkerson chipping in with 12 points and 11 caroms.

Bronx will return to action on November 20, as the Broncos will take to the road to battle Nassau. Start-time for that contest is scheduled for 8:00pm.
