Andre Godfrey

Andre Godfrey joined the Broncos women's basketball program as an Assistant Coach prior to the 2019-2020 season.

Godfrey started his coaching career in 2005 as a part time Assistant Coach/Trainer with Monroe college. He spent three years there, sharpening his skills, before moving on to coach basketball camps from 2010-2017. Godfrey went on to coach middle school basketball at Unity Preparatory Charter School from 2015 -2019. There, under his guidance, the team made it to two championship games. A diligent worker, Godfrey then increased his responsibilities in 2016 by coaching the Unity Preparatory Charter High School. While there, he led the team to its first appearance in the championship game.

He started his basketball career at Grady High school, playing two years of varsity basketball from 1991-93. Following his High School playing career, he spent two years playing basketball at Spartanburg Methodist College, earning a full scholarship at Iona College from 1995-1997.

Godfrey graduated Iona college with a Bachelor's degree in Marketing and Advertising. He owns a personal training certification, and an injury prevention certification.
