Mohand Amokrane Ait Ihaddadene

Mohand Amokrane Ait Ihaddadene was hired as an Assistant Coach prior to the 2019 season, and was promoted to the role of Head Coach in Spring 2020.

An Algerian native, Ihaddadene moved to New York in 2008. At the age of eleven, he joined CSA Itihad Riadhi Academy, Ain El Hammam (Algeria), where he played elite soccer until age 21.

Over the past 10 years, Ihaddadene has developed an extensive and successful coaching background at numerous levels. He served as a full-time coach at New York Red Bulls Academy for two seasons, and in 2012, he was named the Head Coach for the Manhattan Celtics men’s team (Cosmopolitan Men’s Soccer League). He led the Celtics to an undefeated campaign and a Division II championship. The Celtics eventually became a Division I team.
 
Ihaddadene also coached the Barboncito Football Club, in Woodside, Queens, for seven consecutive years, where he assisted the teams and the club in developing a positive youth development philosophy and pathway that eventually led to the club earning a plethora of achievements and trophies.

Coach Ihaddadene earned a Master Coach Diploma offered by Delaware University and United Soccer Coaches, and he holds a USSF B License while awaiting assessment on his A license later this year. He also has an NSCAA Director of Coaching Diploma, NSCAA Premier Diploma, and NSCAA National Goalkeeping Coach Diploma.
