Broncos' early-season success continue with 71-51 win over Dutchess; Bronx improves to 5-2 with victory

The Broncos' women's basketball team continued its early-season success on Tuesday evening, as Bronx defeated the Falcons of Dutchess by a score of 71-51. The game took place at the Falcon Hall Gymnasium in Poughkeepsie, NY. With the victory, the Broncos improved to 5-2 on the 2025-2026 campaign, while the Falcons dipped to 2-6.

Leading the way with her third double-double of the season was newcomer Kolonnie Green, as the standout scored 17 points (8-16 FG) while snatching 18 rebounds, blocking seven shots, and swiping seven steals in an incredible showing. Destiny Davis added 15 points and four assists, and Akira Robertson finalized her evening with 13 points, five dimes, and a pair of rebounds. Akela Robertson contributed nine points, and Destiny Dickerson finalized her evening with seven points, seven boards, and three assists.

Bronx earned a conversion rate of 44.1 percent for the night (30-68). They also collected 38 rebounds (14 offensive), dished 17 assists, swiped 16 steals, and blocked seven shots.

The Broncos will now break for the Thanksgiving holiday before returning to the court on Thursday, December 4, as Bronx will welcome the Express of Monroe-Bronx to the Alumni Gymnasium. Start-time for that contest is scheduled for 6:00pm.
